Kala Timalsina has over 15 years of experience in the energy and environment sector. She is the Treasurer of Nepal Energy Foundation and also serves as the Chairperson of the Women Network for Energy and Environment (WoNEE) Nepal, focusing on empowering grassroots women for economic development. She has good skill for team mobilization and possesses leadership qualities to achieve institutional goals. She has deep knowledge on Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) perspectives in project development and actively advocates for gender issues in policy frameworks. She has worked on various projects supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), USAID and others, focusing on clean energy access and gender inclusivity. Kala has master's degree in Rural Development and Management.
